• For work you will need:
  • about 200 grams of wool yarn;
  * marker to indicate the beginning of a row (can be replaced with a clip);
  • Hand knitting recommended needle size: 8-12 mm
  ** measuring tape for measurements.

• Abbreviations:

K – knit stitches {K1 means to knit 1 stitch}

K2TOG – knit 2 stitches together

P – purl stitches {P2 means to purl 2 stitches}

• Pattern, Knit in the Round:

Using size US 11 {8mm}

CO (cast-on {long-tail cast-on method}) 48  stitches

Rounds 1-26: *K2, P2*, knit for approximately 10″ {25 cm}

Round 33: *K2, P2TOG, PM* {36 STS remaining}

Round 34: *K2TOG, P1, SM* { 33 STS remaining}

Round 35: A large needle is inserted into all the loops and tightened tightly.
